Lois W. Choi-Kain, M.D.Dr. Choi-Kain leads Gunderson Personality Disorders Institute at McLean Hospital, and is Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. In 2013, she founded the BPD Training Institute, a major center for proliferating awareness of and evidence-based care for severe personality disorders. She works nationally and internationally to expand teaching efforts on borderline personality disorder and its evidence-based treatments. Her work has focused on improving access to effective, practical care for BPD, including Good Psychiatric Management, Mentalization-Based Treatment, and related evidence-based approaches. She has taught widely through Harvard Medical School, McLean Hospital, and national and international training programs, and has authored and edited numerous publications on personality disorders, psychotherapy, and the treatment of BPD. |

Jeffrey DeVido, M.D.Dr. DeVido specializes in the evaluation and treatment of addictive disorders as well as general psychiatric conditions in the context of co-occurring medical illness. He maintains a teaching faculty appointment at UCSF’s Department of Psychiatry and continues to teach, lecture, and publish on a wide array of psychiatric conditions. |
