Responsibilities
Provide therapy sessions both in-person and online (individual, family, and groups)
Supervise trainee clinicians
Cultivate professional development opportunities related to DBT and other mental health areas for the clinic team
Respond to urgent client outreach as appropriate, based on clinical context and best practices
Maintain an active license to practice therapy in the state of California and supervise trainees
Develop professional education opportunities for our team and the greater Bay Area therapy community and supervising interns or trainees.
Residential Assistant – Overnight Shift
We are looking for highly motivated individuals to be residential assistants at our supportive, psychiatric residence. Applicants may be undergraduate psychology or social work students preparing for graduate school or graduate students in the behavioral health field looking for additional experience. Experienced LVNs, CADACs, and similar experience as residential counselors, mental health support staff, and nurses in residential treatment centers and hospitals are also encouraged to apply. Residential assistants will provide support and assistance to residents who are receiving outpatient, psychiatric care during the daytime.
Residential assistants will receive regular supervision and training in managing psychiatric positions and will have regular communication with clinical staff working with patients at the clinic office. This is a particularly valuable position for individuals planning on pursuing a career in mental health.
