Jacqueline Perlmutter, RAS, DASD
Jacqueline Perlmutter is an addiction specialist, spiritual director, and certified ecotherapist who specializes in holistic, integrated care. In her case management and addiction recovery counseling, Jacqueline incorporates evidence-based approaches including Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Radical Self-Acceptance, Motivational Interviewing, family systems, and ecopsychology, modalities which all incorporate spirituality and meaning.
Jacqueline is a trained group facilitator for Seeking Safety™ trauma recovery groups, SMART Recovery™, and Centering Meditation™. Most importantly, Jacqueline brings almost three decades of long-term recovery to her clients. She has developed a model for the spiritual journey of addiction recovery which incorporates evidence-based addiction recovery skills and is based on the reconnection with one’s authentic, sacred self.
She has served on many non-profit boards and advocacy coalitions including the Marin Communities Mobilizing for Change on Alcohol (CMCA) Coalition, the Sonoma County Advisory Board on Alcohol & Other Drug Problems, WAAT (Women’s Association for Addiction Treatment), Ohlhoff House Treatment Programs in San Francisco and several regional and national Twelve Step service boards. She is a founding staff member of Olympia House’s dual diagnosis treatment residential treatment program in Petaluma, CA, and has implemented spiritual care programs and groups for addiction treatment programs throughout California.
