Christine Pappas, MA, PsyD, CEDS
With over 25 years of experience in the mental health profession, I’ve worked intensely with a variety of populations and treatment programs ranging from a private practice setting, Residential Program, Partial Hospitalization Program, and Intensive Outpatient Programs. I’ve had the honor of taking on a Clinical Director Position in the programs I was a part of which gave me a wide range of clinical experience and expertise. I have worked extensively with individuals and families recovering from disordered eating, drug and alcohol addiction, and mood disorders and understand the complexities of co-morbid diagnosis. I also have experience assessing the appropriate treatment needed for an individual requiring a higher level of care as well as supporting an individual to reintegrate back into his/her community after graduating from a treatment program. Additionally, I am certified in both Gottman Level I Training as well as EMDR Level I and Level II Training modalities, both of which I integrate in my work with couples and individuals.
It is an honor and a gift to be part of one’s healing process and to create a supportive community that fosters insight and personal growth.

“I feel that we are all in recovery for something, whether it is a loss, a life transition, an eating disorder, alcohol/drug addiction, a relationship, or perhaps an old part of ourselves we are wanting to let go and transform life that gives us opportunities to self-discover and grow.
To change an old narrative that no longer serves you requires courage, strength, and even patience. It takes time to heal and rediscover ourselves. As a wise woman named Angeles Arian once shared, “healing takes place in slow to medium pace…not fast and quick”.
