Mina Dailami, PhD

Postdoctoral Psychology Fellow

Dr. Mina Dailami is a postdoctoral psychology fellow. She earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Palo Alto University and completed her internship in Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. She also received training at Partnerships for Trauma Recovery and the Kaiser Permanente serious mental illness clinic.

Dr. Dailami has worked with adolescents and adults presenting with complex trauma, personality disorders, depression, anxiety, schizophrenia spectrum disorders, and bipolar disorders in hospital settings and nonprofit organizations. She has experience in helping people address feelings of aloneness, traumatic stress, self-destructive behavior, relationship issues, and feeling unfulfilled. She believes in developing a trusting and collaborative relationship as a basis for clients to enact positive change.

Dr. Dailami has a person-centered approach where each individual’s specific needs, identities, culture, and social environments are emphasized in therapy. Dr. Dailami is trained in trauma-informed practices, Psychodynamic Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS). With these modalities, she is able to help people identify negative thinking patterns, explore new ways of relating to themselves and others, and create a life that is consistent with personal values.
