Therapies targeted to treating substance use disorder and co-occurring disorders are designed to help clients learn about addiction to substances and compulsive behaviors, and process and develop skills to make positive changes in a day-to-day life. These groups are for clients who want to gain insight into what is currently getting in the way of choosing healthier ways to cope and provide them with a safe, judgment-free space to address unhealthy cycles of coping.

A Personalized and Multidisciplinary Approach to Healing

Our addiction programs are designed specifically for those who are working toward recovery from drug abuse and addictive behaviors that interfere with day-to-day function.

Our Adult Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is an in-depth behavioral health treatment program that offers a personalized, customized and multidisciplinary approach to treating psychiatric, co-occurring and addictive disorders. It is designed to help clients strengthen coping skills, improve emotional regulation, develop practical life skills and create growth in important relationships.

Includes:

  • 3, 4, 5 days per week program options
  • All available outpatient services
  • Group schedule to fit patient needs and goals.
  • Half-day of treatment

Specifically for clients with a primary psychiatric diagnosis that requires intensive support and structure without 24-hour supervision. For some, PHP offers an alternative or the next step from a hospital or residential program.  For those requiring housing during the program, E Street House is available with 24/7 support.

  • 4 or 5 days per week.
  • Access to outpatient services at greater frequency.
  • Intensive treatment is designed to provide structure, support, and comprehensive care.
  • Full day program

Transition care is available to our clients transitioning from higher-level treatment such as IOP or PHP to outpatient care or those interested in participating in programming but not ready to commit to the intensive level.  The same in-depth program that offers a clinical ‘team’ approach to care planning is available with less intensity and frequency.  It is designed to help clients maintain skills acquired during intensive outpatient or partial hospitalization programs or acquire those same skills in a less structured environment.

Through our collaboration with E Street House, supportive housing provides a nurturing group home environment for adults on their mental wellness journey.  Residents at E Street House live in an all-gender, structured, therapeutically-oriented community setting designed to assist each individual gather and practice new skills, health, and mental balance.

  • Medication oversight
  • Time management and self-care support
  • Help finding work, volunteer, or educational opportunities

Psychiatry

We’re proud that our clients are treated by some of the best psychiatrists in the field. Your treatment is individualized, and determined by you and your doctor. Common treatments include Suboxone® and Vivitrol® . These treatments in which prescription medications are used, in combination with behavioral therapies, provide a whole-patient approach to the treatment of substance use disorders.

Suboxone® , Sublocade, and Zubsolv

Suboxone®, Sublocade and Zubsolv are effective new treatment options for addiction to heroin and prescription narcotic painkillers such as Oxycontin and Vicodinare. Suboxone is a “partial opiate,” meaning that it gives the brain something like what it is used to without the dangers associated with “full opiates” such as Heroin, Vicodin, or Methadone. It provides longer-lasting relief and reduces the reliance on daily medication dosages

Vivitrol Injections

Another new treatment option for addiction to heroin, morphine, and opiate painkillers that was recently approved by the FDA consists of monthly injections of a drug called Vivitrol. This drug, known generically as naltrexone, works on the body differently than methadone or buprenorphine. It blocks the effects of opioid drugs and reduces the craving to take them.
