Sally Huang, MD, MS
Sally Huang, MD, MS earned her medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine and completed her residency in adult psychiatry at Stanford University School of Medicine. She holds a master’s degree in Narrative Medicine from Columbia University.
While in residency, Dr. Huang served as Chief Resident and pursued three years of advanced training in psychodynamic psychotherapy from the San Francisco Center for Psychoanalysis. She brings her background in the humanities to bear in her clinical practice as she locates every person in the context of their life narrative and views the relationship with the individuals
she serves as the primary vehicle for lasting change. At Mind Therapy Clinic, she enjoys offering both pharmacotherapy and psychotherapy in various modalities, tailoring treatment to each individual’s unique needs. She has a special interest in working with students, individuals working through identity and life transitions, and people of the global majority. She has additional training in working with groups.
Dr. Huang maintains an appointment as Adjunct Clinical Faculty at the Stanford Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, where she teaches in the adult psychiatry residency program.
