Building Strong Relationships starts with understanding what makes healthy relationships work. Social support is one of the most important resiliency factors in managing mental health, coping with addiction, and even living a long life, so having skills to manage challenging moments in our relationships is of the utmost importance. This group is for anyone seeking to strengthen their romantic partnerships, troubleshoot their approach to dating, deepen their friendships, or find more connection within their family.
In this group, we will focus on learning what makes certain relationships thrive while others are rife with conflict and disconnection. Then, we will learn skills to make conflict more productive, increase positive interaction, and create more meaningful connections. Focusing on the research and relationships skills developed by the Gottman Institute, this evidence backed group is filled with resources you can use to build strong relationships in your life.
